Looking For A Short Getaway?

Do you like driving around round-abouts? How about visiting Capital cities? Then Canberra is the place for you! Often overlooked Australia’s capital city is actually a very interesting place to take a short break.

During the month of March the people of Canberra celebrate the Canberra Festival. Over 10 days the city puts on free events showcasing some of the country’s best dance, sport, film and theatre events. Hot air balloons fill the sky early in the morning giving a great view of the city. Free events are put on in parks around Canberra giving visitors the chance to see the Canberra Symphony Orchestra perform.

Canberra is easy to drive around making it simple to get from place to place. Visit Parliament House, Old Parliament House, the Canberra Zoo, Questacon, see the world’s Embassy’s on Embassy Drive. If you’re lucky you will also be able to see some of Australia’s wildlife.

Only 4 hours from Sydney Canberra is a great place to escape to for your next short break!
