Situated just 1 Kilometre from Barcelona’s City Centre and just over 2 hours from Perpignan France lays Casa Batllo. Casa Batllo or the house of bones is a breathtaking building with a contemporary art look and feel and was originally restored back in 1904 by Antoni Gaudi. Today the building offers visitors the chances to step inside and explore the beautiful art of Antoni Gaudi. The type of art Antonio Gaudi is said to produce is Art Nouveau, sculptured windows, curves that go for miles, mosaics, arches and bone like pillars. For a fee you can enter the amazing building and go on a self-guided audio tour, and experience the history which the building holds within.
Not far from Casa Batllo is Casa Mila, another famous building also designed by Antoni Gaudi. The building was said to be created for a married couple, and caused much up roar throughout the 1900’s regarding the size, height and many other violations. Today the building has been restored and you can go and experience the great view of the city from the rooftop.
